Resumen:
Marlene Dietrich ejerció siempre una poderosa influencia en sus películas: vestuario, maquillaje, peluquería y foto fija. Más importante aun, después de su separación de Sternberg en 1935 fue la artífice de su propia iluminación. Su auténtica preocupación por la interpretación surgió más tarde en un conjunto de largometrajes que, de manera significativa, eran autobiográficos o estaban inspirados en su propia vida. Emergió así la actriz que controla el proceso creativo del film totalmente, desde la mera concepción del guión hasta su materialización en pantalla. Este artículo estudia su carrera posterior a 1935: la evolución desde la actriz-técnico de fotografía hasta la actriz-auteur.

Marlene Dietrich-ek eragin handia izan zuen beti bere filmetan: jantzietan, makillajetan, ileapainketan eta argazki finkoetan. Eta are garrantzitsuago, 1935ean Sternberg-engandik banandu ondoren, bere argitzearen egilea izan zen. Bere benetako ardura interpretazioan beranduago sortu zen autobiografikoak ziren edo bere bizitzan inspiratuta zeuden film mordo batean.
Filmaren sortze-prozesua guztiz kontrolatuta daukan aktorea agertu zen, gidoi-sorkuntzatik pantailetan gauzatu arte. Artikulu honek 1935. eta ondoko urteetan bere ibilbidea aztertzen du: eboluzioa aktore argazki-teknikariarengatik aktore auteur-arenganaino.

Abstract:
Marlene Dietrich always exercised a powerful influence in her films: costume, make-up, hairdresser and stills. Most importantly, after her separation from Sternberg in 1935 she was in charge of her own lighting. However, it was not until much later when emerged her genuine concern by acting, in a series of films, which meaningfully were autobiographical or inspired by her own personal life. Thus emerged the actress who controls the creative process of film-making completely, from the simple idea expressed on the screenplay until its materialization on the screen. This article examines her subsequent film career to 1935: her evolution from the actress-cinematographer until her transformation into an actress-auteur.
